Summary
KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Class 2 Driver for our client based in Glasgow. They are primarily a Cash & Carry Wholesale business with a wide product portfolio consisting of Beers, Wines, Spirits, Soft Drinks, Confectionary, Crisps and Snacks, Household and Grocery.
As a Class 2 Driver you will be working 5 out of 7 days a week, with flexible working hours, starting between 06:00- 08:00.
The rate of pay as a Class 2 Driver is:
• £14.25 p/h
As a Class 2 Driver your duties and responsibilities are:
• Multidrop delivery of customers’ orders in cages and on pallets in an organised and timely fashion
• Loading your lorry according to your daily route while following all CPC regulations
• Dealing with Customer queries and payments upon delivery
• Taking responsibility for the zone and lorry that you work in; this includes ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained
• Supporting other departments as required
As a Class 2 Driver you will need:
• You must have a good understanding of tachograph rules and regulations.
• Confident using tail lifts
• You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service
• Candidates must be CPC qualified and must not have more than 6 points on their license to be considered for the role.
• Excellent work ethic is required, as well as punctuality and reliability
• Initiative and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and careful precision to meet target
