We are delighted to advertise this post in recognition of the Trust's commitment to improve access to psychological interventions and developing Trauma Informed Care within inpatient settings for adult and older adult service users.

Enthusiasm, personal resilience and the ability to work flexibly are essential. Those currently working at Band 7 who are ready for career progression are encouraged to apply as we are able to offer this post as a Band 7 Preceptorship towards Band 8a.

We could also support offering extra sessions to make this a full-time post through connections with other services in the Trust and academic connections with UCL and UEL.

The post-holder will be the lead psychologist for a rehabilitation ward which offers a range of individual and group and systemic psychological interventions. These are greatly valued by the well-established MDT team.

We are looking for psychologists with excellent clinical skills and demonstrated expertise and knowledge of working with adults experiencing significant mental health difficulties. An interest and motivation in working with psychosis using effective psychological interventions is needed

You would be joining an innovative psychology service with supervision, peer support and training integral to this role. The Trust offers a wide range of training opportunities and professional development for qualified psychologists. There is a comprehensive CPD programme including CBT, systemic and psychodynamic modules available.

The partnership between Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH) and Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust (C&I) is going from strength to strength since it was originally established in 2021 forming the North London Mental Health Partnership.

In order to meet the needs of the new Partnership services you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Enfield and Harringay Trust and Camden and Islington Trust. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.
