Summary


Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust, working in partnership under the North London Mental Health Partnership is transforming its estate, to create modern, fit for purpose care environments that support recovery and wellbeing for mental health patients in the boroughs of Camden and Islington community. The Trust’s vision is to be a strong performing organisation providing high quality, safe and innovative care to our patients and their families and the quality of buildings that we deliver these services from are critical to the Trust’s success.

We are currently operating out of a very old estate, from a large number of sites, many of which are unfit for the purpose they are being used for.

We are making significant progress with the transformation programme with construction work continuing at our new inpatient facility at Highgate East, planning permission granted and full business case approved for our first community hub at Lowther Road and designs progressing well with our second community Hub at Greenland Road (see programme update for further details).

The Role

As part of the St Pancras Transformation Team and making this vision a reality, you will work closely with the Trust Estate Teams, Clinical and non-Clinical staff and service users, you will also help to build on the strong relationships with other NHS Trusts, major developers and contractors as part of the overall programme.

From the start, developing and maintaining close working arrangements and adopting a partnering approach to delivery, will underpin success. Desired Competencies & Experience
• Good Interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
• Good IT Skills and working knowledge of word, excel, powerpoint, MS projects
• Ability to plan and programme activities and think ahead
• Organisational skills with document and email filing, actions and tasks
• Good time management skills – ability to prioritise and set S.M.A.R.T. objectives
• Good level of written English and ability to communicate effectively
• Relevant Qualification – Construction, engineering
