Factory Manager (Sheet Metal)

£40,000 to £50,000 + Benefits Package
Factory Manager with experience in sheet metal production required for an expanding and well-established company.
The role will involve the day to day responsibility of running the sheet metal workshop and the team of around 8 Operatives.
The successful candidate will be able to really put their stamp on the factory and how its run. You will be given the autonomy to make decisions and implement change along with the support and guidance from the Director team.
The role will be a challenging mix of technical and commercial responsibilities.
The Factory Manager role:
* Day to day running of sheet metal workshop with 6-8 operatives.
* Preparation of cutting lists and component drawings.
* Detail design of sheet metal fabrications.
* Ordering materials, preparing quotations and invoices.
* Liaison with Accounts Department and clients.
* Responsibility for staffing, cost control and arranging equipment maintenance and purchase.
The Factory Manager:
* Experienced Factory Manager (or similar) from a sheet metal production background.
