Summary

To provide professional security services to our site, maintaining the security and safety of their premises and people by ways of monitoring, patrolling and surveying the building and our assets.
• Complete daily security tasks, including but not limited to;
• Use of software
• Use of security systems
• Carry out routine patrols of the premises
• Locking and unlocking premises
• Completion of detailed incident reports
• Liaison with local authorities
• Operating client switchboard
• Administrative tasks such as the completing of daily occurrence log
• Operation of car park system
• Reporting of defective equipment and hazards
• Ensuring fire safety systems are tested regularly
• Assist in deterring crime within the premises

• Carry out any reasonable task requested by the client or Manager, if you are trained to do so

• Assist in the setting up and smooth running of events taking place on the premises

• You will take an ‘everyone matters approach’ to Health and Safety one site, using your knowledge, skills and resources to ensure risks are controlled in compliance with company Health and Safety processes and procedures and best practices.
• Be the face of the company applying the company Visions and Values to your work at all times, behaving in a professional manner at all times.

• Maintain equipment, materials and uniform.

• Complete general overall training by ways of Toolbox Talks.

• Manage the day to day running of the security team and lead by example

• Create weekly rotas for the security team ensuring contracted hours are met

• Performing interviews in order to recruit for vacant positions

• Completing uniform orders

• Managing of security teams annual leave

• Act as duty manager during weekends and bank holidays to ensure the smooth running of the site

• Ensure footage of criminal activity caught on CCTV is saved and handed over to local authorities in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018

• Manage customer and client complaints in a professional manner

• Complete weekly checks of vacant units and assist stores in the completion of weekly testing of the fire safety systems

• Completion of audits to ensure all systems and staff are up to date with government legislation

• Liaise with on site management to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner

• Ensuring emergency contact details are kept up to date for both staff and tenants on site

• Completion of admin tasks such as ‘return to work forms’

• Completing investigations of incidents
