Temporary period – April to 12th September 2024
We are currently looking for a Temporary Driver’s Mate/Warehouse Operative to assist our driver’s with their deliveries and to work in our busy warehouse, The role is based in our Newton Abbot, Distribution Centre.
The Position: As a Temporary Driver’s Mate/Warehouse Operative at the Newton Abbot Distribution Centre you will be involved in a multitude of tasks which will include, but are not limited to:
• Assisting our drivers with their deliveries
• Picking and loading of goods for next day deliveries
• Assisting with offloading goods on each route
• Ensuring good stock rotation at all times within the warehouse
• Ensuring highest standards of housekeeping are maintained
• Providing support in the freezer warehouse when needed
The Person
• Experience of working within a warehouse environment
• A Forklift Licence would be advantageous
• Be physically fit due to the nature of the role including heavy lifting
• A good all round team player
• Strong communication skills
