Summary
Please note that previous experience is essential
The successful Candidate will have overall responsibility for the day to day running of the practice which will include; Regulatory requirements, Marketing, Client Servicing and IT support. Weekly commission runs and payments/ wages/ banking management whilst supporting the Practice Partner in the development of the practice.
Key responsibilities will include;
• To drive the business forward with creativity and positivity
• Develop and manage effective systems, processes and procedures
• Ensure Practice Support Specialists perform their key functions
• Provide technical support and training to new/junior staff joining the Practice;
• Oversee the Practice finances efficiently and in a timely manner to meet deadlines
• Monitor business reports, trends and statistical analysis
• Ensure the Practice is up to date and in compliance with all licensing, CPD, regulatory and legislative requirements;
• Manage communications within the Practice, and those to clients and third parties;
• Ensure office stationery and equipment is of sufficient quality, quantity and up to date;
• Preparation for the Annual audit & Due diligence checks
• Ensuring the practice worksmart is kept up to date for compliance purposes.
• Liasing with the company accountants for preparation of the annual accounts and tax returns.
• Staff interviews and recruitment
• Managing the daily written business and maintaining the spreadsheets
• Maintaining the back up.
• Carrying out indexations and also bed and NISA transactions
• Submission of business for compliance checking/processing
• Dealing with adviser/client queries
Overseeing staff and carrying out any disciplinary actions
Any other duties as required by the practice principal
Please note this is full time position from 9 am - 5 pm with additional hours if required.
