Summary
A Harpenden family is seeking a Live-in Housekeeper to assist in managing their home to a high standard of cleanliness. They are looking for a candidate who is warm, energetic, and possesses a 'can-do' attitude. Cooking healthy meals for the children is a part of the role, and occasional childcare duties may be required, so a child-friendly housekeeper would be ideal. All general housekeeping tasks will be expected in this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday full day, Saturday 4-5 hours, approximately 50 hours per week
Accommodation Room with own entrance. Little kitchenette and bathroom, double bed
Duties include:
loading the dishwasher/doing the dishes
dusting furniture
freshening the rooms
doing the laundry and ironing of the family
dusting
hoovering the carpets and floors
ensuring all bedrooms are always clean
polishing floor
preparing and cooking simple yet healthy and delicious meals for the family
running some errands for the family such as doing grocery shopping for the family’s supplies and paying bills
