As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in providing personalized support to students with SEN, helping them achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting SEN students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities. Providing one-on-one support to students with individualized education plans (IEPs) or specific learning needs. Implementing strategies and interventions to support students' learning and development. Collaborating closely with teachers, SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators), and other support staff to create inclusive learning environments. Monitoring and recording student progress, and communicating effectively with parents and caregivers.

Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential). A compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards supporting diverse learning needs. Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training in SEN support (e.g., Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, Autism Awareness training, etc.).
