Summary

About the role:

Your role is to be the ‘guardian' of the client account. You will ensure processes and budgetary requirements are followed in addition to working with Product Managers and Sales/Buying Teams within your clients Head Office, providing them data and input to assist in the planning, gaining authorisation and implementation of product support programmes.

You will be accountable for client delivery and have the ability to manage multiple projects at any one time. You will have a strong focus on lead generation and driving new business opportunities in addition to ensuring internal eXPD8 processes and timelines are being followed, driving your team towards achieving excellent operational delivery and standards.

You will also directly line manage one or more person(s). You will be responsible for motivating, training, recruiting and inducting your team in addition to ensuring delivery of eXPD8 processes and procedures.

How you'll deliver excellence:

-Client Relationship Management

-
-Represent eXPD8 credibly whilst building and maintaining strong long-lasting relationships with your client(s).

-Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively, working closely with internal teams to resolve them.

-Understand clients' business objectives and challenges to provide tailored solutions.

-Assist in the planning, forecasting and implementation of new business opportunities within the client contract which meet the overall strategic vision and will deliver the commercial targets.

-Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction to increase client retention.

-Physical presence in the client Head office regularly - attending and driving agendas for meetings.

- Stakeholder Management and Collaboration
-Delivery and creation of a structured plan for each activity - considering all possible outcomes and “what if” to ensure our Field Team can deliver the clients vision in all eventualities - delegating to a team of administrators where necessary whilst being accountable for the overall output and delivery yourself.

-To define, implement, review, update, train and communicate all day-to-day processes within eXPD8 to ensure the client account is serviced to the SLA.

-Administrative Tasks
-Accurate and timely creation and delivery of Client Services administration including briefing documents, mailing lists and compliance checking.

-Creating, tracking, monitoring, and owning the annual budget for your client and are responsible for seeking opportunities and implementing them to grow your accounts. You should identify any threats to budget delivery and implement plans to reverse or overcome that threat.

-Delivering to the budget for your client periodically/annually - tracking this periodically and growing your accounts whilst reporting back to the client services function regularly on progress.

-Facilitate our financial process compliance including raising POs, cost planning and invoicing.

-Reporting
-Plan, implement, produce, and review effective reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

-Track and analyse key performance metrics, including sales targets, KPIs and SLAs.

-Where eXPD8 are not achieving our key KPIs and SLAs - review and course correct to drive excellence where needed through your team.

-Team Management
-Recruit, induct, train, lead, motivate, monitor, manage and coach a client centric team.

-Facilitate a people first culture, focusing on creating a high performing team and the development of your team.

Essential:

-Strong IT literacy, particularly across the core Microsoft suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Word).

-You are able to easily commute to our Bristol Central Office twice a week.

-Effective internal and external stakeholder management.

-Organised, a self-starter and the ability to delegate and drive excellence through your team.

-A solution focused “can do” attitude.

-The ability to work on multiple projects on once, keeping your line manager and the category lead informed where necessary on progress.

-The ability to identify opportunity areas / areas of weakness in our service delivery and implement a plan of how to improve.

-A people person - building long lasting client relationships through excellent Account Management.

Desired:

-Experience of the retail sector and/or a backround in FMCG/Retail and/or Field Marketing.

-1-3 years previous Account Management experience or similar level.

-Line management experience.

-Proven experience at effective Client Relationship Management with accounts that are successful and profitable

-Proven excellent customer relationship/interaction skills; meeting/exceeding their needs on a day-to-day basis

-Experience of liaising between multiple stakeholders - keeping all parties relevantly and professionally informed

-Proven empathy and uses tact and diplomacy when dealing with sensitive matters.
