Summary


We are looking for a band 2 health care assistant. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, have a kind and caring attitude towards patients, families and colleagues and who will be positive team members.

As a HCA you will provide personal care and support to patients at their most vulnerable times. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide a compassionate, caring and safe environment for our patients. Your application should highlight your experience in order for the shortlisting panel to be able to select the most suitably qualified individuals to join our team.

Some of your duties will include;
• Assist patients in meeting their hygiene needs and carry out all aspects of personal care and grooming (to include emptying catheter bags).
• Assist in the prevention of pressure sore development as directed by the Registered nurse in conjunction with the patient’s plan of care.
• Enable patients to maintain/improve their mobility by use of exercise and mobility appliances as directed by individual care plans.
• Undertake a range of clerical duties in the absence of or in support of the Ward Clerk to ensure a smooth running service
