Summary

The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Project Manager to join our client based in Sandbach on a permanent basis.

Our client is a leading business within the construction industry. The purpose of this role is to ensure that projects are delivered within budget and to the customers
satisfaction, matching if not exceeding their expectations of a Delta experience, and what value we have promised to provide particularly around a hassle free, quick, installation.

Salary:
£55,000-£65,000 per annum

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday
8am until 4pm

The Role:
Primarily working in the 'Bespoke' division on projects or elements of projects that aren't in our core product range. In most cases the work will be subcontracted out to approved partners. The only overlap into the core division is continuing to produce the monthly CVR reports.

  • Agree how the project should be divided up and staged, to best suit the customers programme requirements while ensuring maximum efficiency of Delta site visits and minimum project WIP.
  • Work with the finance and admin team to ensure the project account is set up to align with reporting requirements
  • Work with Delta's Quantity Surveyor to explore ways to maximise the commercial success of the project.
  • Attend pre-let meetings on new projects
  • Carry out Pre-start meetings or delegate as necessary.
  • Manage budgets and recover costs.


Qualifications / Experience:

  • SMSTS or IOSH qualifications
  • Advanced Project Management qualifications. For example, Prince2 or PMP etc
  • Desirable - Degree qualified and chartered or equivalent professional qualification where possible
  • 15 years of direct construction related experience.
  • 8 years' experience in management of projects in the construction & refurb sectors
  • 3 years' experience in working with architectural/fit-out construction products such as bfacades, balustrades, finishes etc.
