Summary

Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant X2
- Primary School in Colne (BB8)
- A full-time role available (Monday-Friday, 8.30am - 15:30pm)
- Experience supporting children or young adults with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs is desirable but not essential
- Pay rate: £12.82 - £13.55 per hour
- Start date: September 2024

This school is looking to secure a proactive, strong willed individual who ideally has experience working with those who have special educational needs and can manage behaviours that challenge. As the children at this school have been excluded from mainstream education, it is important that applicants for this role are mentally strong and have no issues working in a fast paced environment.

The Role

On a full-time long-term basis you will provide support to students across the school. You will support children's physical, social and emotional welfare ensure pupils needs are catered for. You will work alongside Teachers to adapt support according to the individualised needs of students.

You will work closely with the class teachers and SENCo's in order to complete tailored plans to ensure the best care for each individual child.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
