Summary

Exciting Opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant at an alternative Provision in Wirral.

We are working with an alternative provision in Wirral who are recruiting 2 TA's to work full time from May 2024. This provision aims to provide students with a calm, pastoral and nurturing learning environment. They are provided with high standards of education and will be provided with the skills to succeed.

The ideal candidates will have expereince of supporting students with a personailised curriculum and wll be able to build relationships and help students overcome any obstacles and barriers to learning.

Both role will begin in January but you will be provided with an opportunity to look around the provision and will receive a full induction package. Both roles are on a temp to perm basis.

Roles and Responsibilities: As a Teaching Assistant at our school, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students' educational journey. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the smooth transition of new pupils into the school community.
- Providing personalised 1:1 support to students, tailoring your approach to their unique needs.
- Facilitating engaging and interactive learning experiences for small groups of pupils.
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and parents to create a holistic and effective support system.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with SEMH and those struggling with mainstream.
- A genuine passion for providing a pastoral system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.
