The Opportunity:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated post-doctoral researcher with skills in molecular and/or computational biology to characterise the pathogenesis of key livestock apicomplexan parasites. This full-time (35 hours per week) position offers a unique opportunity to engage in critical experiments that have the potential to make significant impact on animal health and food safety.
Your skills and attributes for success:
A PhD in a relevant discipline in molecular biology, parasitology, computational biology, or similar
Experience in molecular biology methods including sterile cell culture, cloning, and conducting functional assays
Experience with R, python or similar
A track record of research outputs commensurate with research experience
Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Ability to generate good quality written reports in a timely manner.
