Summary
Purpose of the Control Room Technician:
The Bluefield Operations Limited (BOL) Control Room is responsible to provide first response to diagnostic and management of faults, incidents, and underperformance in our portfolio of solar sites. The Control Room also operates as the BOL first response to external parties, site related calls, BOL Contact Centre, Lone worker platform, Site Access, and CCTV & Security request
You will support our Field Service and Portfolio Management team, to guarantee all site faults are diagnosed and response teams are deployed as quickly as possible.
You will constantly monitor your allocated region of Solar sites, using SCADA and other 3rd party systems to alert the Operations and Asset Management teams of any downtime or plant and equipment irregularities. Our goal is to enable effective and efficient plant maintenance and minimise cost and lost production.
You will analyse operational data, continuously learning different resources, technologies, and processes, to provide the best diagnostic information to the Field Service team, ensuring the quickest actions to minimize downtime.
This role requires you to be in office 5 days per week.
