Summary
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Room Leader to work with a wonderful team based at wonderful Ofsted OUTSTANDING nursery setting in Altrincham, Cheshire. This is a full time post for 40 hour per week all year round, except we are closed over Christmas and closed on Christmas Eve.
The nursery has an outstanding reputation in the local community and is in a prime location with excellent commuter links locally, with shops nearby. The ideal candidate must be able to bring a sense of awe and wonder, making it a fun and magical day for the children.
As a Room Leader, you will be excited about leading a room as well as other practitioners and apprentice's to deliver outstanding care and education for children in their early years. As part of the role you will:
Plan, prepare and support the smooth running of a creative and playful curriculum with colleagues in line with The Early Years Foundation Stage.
Conduct baseline assessments and age appropriate assessments based on children’s individual development.
Support children’s settling in visits, inductions, and room transitions.
Communicate with parents/carers about their child’s development and keep them involved.
Support and mentor team members with their Continual Professional Development.

Must be Childcare Level 3 qualified (Essential)
Experience working as a Room Leader (Desirable)
Good knowledge of EYFS (Essential)
Good knowledge of safeguarding (Essential)
Minimum 1 year room leader experience (Desirable)
Minimum 2 years' leadership experience (Desirable)
