Summary
The LCHS School Age Immunisation Service is commissioned to deliver all vaccinations to the school aged population across Lincolnshire. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a skilled, motivated individual with relevant experience to work predominately within the Single Point of Access telephone service which supports the delivery of the School Age Immunisation Service vaccination programmes.
The base for this vacancy is to be agreed at interview.
Reporting to the Senior Administrators, you will be responsible for providing day to day effective and efficient administration support, with a large part of the duties being the front line telephone contact point for service users and stakeholders. The role will also require the ability to input data accurately, be confident and demonstrate excellent communication skills and ensuring requests received via telephone and email are responded to in a timely manner.
Experience of working in a busy environment is essential, alongside the management of records, establishing strong relationships, and delivering effective administrative processes within tight deadlines and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Additionally, due to the increasing size of the Flu programme, you will be trained and competency assessed to deliver the nasal flu vaccine to children under the direct supervision of a registered nurse working within a patient group direction.
This post requires that you have the ability to travel between locations to carry out your work and to attend training and meetings; daily access to transport is therefore essential.

At LCHS, we know diversity fosters creativity and innovation. We are committed to equality of opportunity, to being fair and inclusive, and to being a place where all belong. We therefore particularly encourage applications from candidates who are likely to be underrepresented in LCHS’ workforce.
LCHS recognises the increasing demand for more flexibility in working practices in order to accommodate the personal goals and commitments that employees experience at different stages during their working lives. Flexible working opportunities such as part-time working, compressed hours, job shares, and hybrid working models can help staff to balance their personal and work commitments. Arrangements can be put in place if it can be shown that the needs of the individual can be balanced with those of the service and the impact on other team members, enabling the Trust to recruit and retain skilled staff, raise staff morale, reduce absenteeism and respond to changing service needs more effectively.
