Summary


We are looking to recruit an Assistant Psychologist to support our Specialist Community Mental Health Team (SCMHT) in providing psychological services across Wigan and Leigh.

The successful candidate will work closely alongside three other assistant psychologists to support and enhance the care of service users accessing the SCMHT psychological therapies pathway.

The role will involve supporting psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions for individuals and groups under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist.

The successful candidate would support in the development and implementation of new pathways of accessible trauma-informed psychological interventions, for people with mental health experiences including psychosis; bipolar; and complex trauma.

It is anticipated that the audit, research and service evaluation of psychological pathways will be a key part of the role.
