Summary

Property Maintenance Worker – Permanent position (full time) Leeds based

The main purpose of the role will be:

  • Carrying out property maintenance within a domestic environment
  • Liaising with Tenants within the properties to ensure that work is carried out to high standard
  • Traveling to multiple sites, as this will be a mobile vacancy in a company vehicle

    We are looking to appoint a competent candidate who has skills in multi trades.. You’ll need experience of property maintenance to join our Property Maintenance Team. You will be responsible for undertaking minor repairs (e.g., lock changes, installing fence posts/panels, fitting tap washers) within our tenanted and empty properties/gardens.

    The role requires the postholder to be multi skilled, work with minimal direct supervision and liaise with a range of internal and external contacts including suppliers and contractors. We’ll also want to see a customer focused, caring nature and a genuine interest in our tenants. You should be reliable and ready to turn your hand to a range of tasks all focused on keeping our homes maintained to the highest standards.

    The role will be provided with a company vehicle and there will be travel across Yorkshire, mainly Leeds.

    • Property Maintenance Worker – permanent role
    • Salary is £24,876.09 per annum plus a Business Van
      • Location: We have Hubs in Leeds (LS6 2TN) and York (YO32 9LG) where you will be required to attend. You will work out of the Leeds Office.

      • Regular travel will be required to reach our properties
        • 37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working, we would consider applications for candidates wishing to work part time/job share
        • Generous benefits package including 26 days annual leave on commencement rising to 31 days after 3 years’ service, occupational pension, health cash plan, and birthday leave, with the option of a flexible pot towards enhanced benefits.
