**The Role:**

As a Civil Drainage/Flood Risk Engineer, you will play a key role in the company’s civil engineering team. Your responsibilities will include:



- Drafting drainage and highways designs with a focus on drainage

- Working on a variety of residential and non-residential projects across the UK

- Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Drainage Strategies, and Foul Water Drainage Strategies to support Planning Applications

- Liaising with clients and third-party consultants/council officers

- Utilizing Microdrainage/Flow software to model drainage networks

- Providing input into draft site masterplans to ensure compliance with drainage and Flood Risk requirements

**Requirements:**

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and experience:



- Minimum 2 years' experience in civil engineering, particularly roads and drainage within the residential sector

- Strong knowledge of UK Drainage/Flood Risk Regulation/Best Practice

- Proficiency with Microdrainage/Flow, Microstation/AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office

- Proven experience with the preparation of drainage and flood risk strategies to support planning applications

- Experience in preparing and reviewing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy documents
