We are looking to recruit a Lifeguard who will:
• Ensure all customers are communicated with the correct information quickly and politely.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the pool and the associated areas.
• Inspect toilets, changing areas as and when required.
• Report all possible accidents.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all pool users.
• Carry out rescues and initiate emergency action where necessary.
• Maintain a concentrated observation of the pool and pool users.
• Administer life saving techniques and first aid when required.
• Take responsibility of your own health and safety and that of colleagues and customers
• Following and enforcing all relevant legislation including health & safety, hygiene, first aid and fire
• To attend and participate in any training that is deemed necessary by your manager.
• Maintain all equipment and facilities.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, as well as being able to administer First Aid Training. You will need to hold a valid NPLQ/Pool Responder Certificate (or equivalent). Strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential to this role.
