Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team and work alongside a highly experienced Head Vet who has over 20 years of experience at a practice situated in a historic town in Kent surrounded by beautiful countryside and stunning waterways, making it a great place for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.
This RCVS accredited small animal practice is conveniently located and offers a varied caseload for Veterinary Surgeons of all levels. The opportunity to perform surgeries will be available on a rotational basis, and you will have the support of an experienced nursing team at the practice.
The practice consists of five Vets and a fantastic support team that includes one Head RVN, two RVNs, one SVN, one ANA, and incredibly efficient receptionists. With over 15 years of experience in small animal practice, the Head Vet is passionate about developing and supporting the vet team.
The practice features four consultation rooms, a dedicated x-ray and ultrasound room, a modern and spacious theatre, as well as a prep room. Located just off the M20, this spacious practice is easily accessible from London, taking just under an hour.
Or client is looking for a candidate who has post-graduate experience.
The Rota:
• Full and part-time applicants are welcome to apply
• Typically, the position is full-time over 4/5 days per week
• The role involves a combination of early shifts (8am-4.30pm) and late shifts (11am - 7.30pm)
• 1:3 Saturdays
• No OOH
• The practice values work-life balance
