Job Requirements for Nursing Home Manager:
• Overall responsibility of the home
• Staff management/ appraisals/ training
• Care plans/ reviews/ meetings
• General management of the nursing areas
The ideal Nursing Home Manager :
• Hold a current Nurse pin or a non-nurse with extensive Nursing Home Management experience
• Excellent communication skills, an honest & open management style & a passion for elderly care
• NVQ Level 5 / The Registered Managers Award
The ideal person will be required to have thorough experience of the elderly care sector. You should ideally be Nurse qualified (either RGN / RMN / RNLD)
