Summary

Are you skilled at delivering outstanding customer sales experiences? Do you have experience in a sales or contact centre environment? Join our New Business team and become our next Customer Expert!

As a New Business Customer Advisor operating in our call centre, you'll be taking calls from potential new members who are looking to join RAC for their breakdown cover (No Cold Calling!). You’ll be an expert on the features and benefits of RAC Breakdown Cover, and use your sales through service skills to quickly and effectively get them onboard. This is a busy and challenging role; you'll bring your resilience, enthusiasm and energy, and be right at home within our outstanding Bristol team!

Base salary of £25,585 for a 35-hour working week, with an OTE of up to £32,000!

Start Date: Monday 3rd June 2024

This is a full-time, permanent position with a work schedule covering all days of the week, including alternative weekends. Your shifts from Monday to Friday will be between the hours of 08:00 – 19:00, and on Saturday and Sunday, you’ll work from 09:00 – 17:00.

What you’ll be doing:

Delivering Exceptional Service to potential members, ensuring we have the customer at the heart of everything we do
Operate in a fast-paced environment, where we deliver exceptional customer focused solutions
Effectively engage with potential members on a number of different campaigns
Promoting our products and services
Providing great Customer Service to our customers through keeping accurate records up to date and providing the customer service responsibilities
Recording member data and requests in an accurate manner using RAC systems

Ideally have previous experience working within a sales focussed environment and can demonstrate excellent customer service
Enjoy talking to customers
Are empathetic and able to build rapport with our members, in an outgoing, confident, engaging manner
Are self-motivated and passionate about finding the right outcomes for customers
Have a desire to deliver a first-class customer experience to over 2 million customers
Can demonstrate the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced sales contact centre, and work well under pressure to meet KPIs
