Summary
Part time 1.30pm to 6.30pm (5 hours a day) for 5 days
Medical receptionist role to provide a point of contact for patients and act as a focal point of communication between doctors and other medical staff.
Ensure efficiency of walk in system and monitor flow of patients into consulting and treatment rooms.
Ensure that patients without appointments but who need urgent consultation are seen in a logical and non-disruptive manner by the walk-in nurse.
Explain practice arrangements and formal requirements to new patients and those seeking temporary cover, ensure procedures are completed.
Advice patients of relevant charges for private services and accept payment and issue receipts.
Sign visitors in an out of the building using the visitors book at front desk
Respond to all queries and requests for assistance from patients and other visitors.
