Summary
Position: Support Security OfficerLocation: Stoke Pay Rate: £12.44 per hourWe are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Support Security Officer to join our security team in Stoke. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in challenging situations and is committed to providing a high level of service.Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security systems and conduct patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances promptly.
- Manage access control for the premises, ensuring all visitors and staff adhere to security protocols.
- Assist in emergency situations and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
- Maintain clear and concise logs of all security-related activities.
- Provide support and assistance to individuals on the premises, being mindful of their needs and any specific situations that may arise.
- Covering a variety of positions which may include reception and gatehouse duties
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a security role is essential.
- Valid SIA License.
- Strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks.
- Knowledge or experience in dealing with individuals with various mental health issues is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of handling sensitive situations with diplomacy.
- Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
