Pathway coordinators design, develop and implement ambitious and creative curriculum pathways to support learners to enjoy, develop and achieve their goals. The curriculum is underpinned by the Preparing for Adulthood Curriculum. This pathway supports those special school leavers to develop the skills that are essential to thrive in the workplace, or in running their own enterprise. Voluntary and paid employment outcomes as well as embracing enterprise activities form part of the clear vision for the students on this pathway

Post holders will plan and deliver a highly differentiated person centred curriculum in line with individual education outcomes which enables learners to fulfil their full potential. The curriculum will be delivered by staff that you lead and manage, as well as other team members and at the college’s satellite locations. Employer support is an essential element of this pathway and recruiting and engaging with employers to ensure graduates of Beaumont College have the skills, behaviours and understanding of the workplace, and add value to a place of employment. This may include promoting Disability Confidence through training and support with our employers as partners.

You must be able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure all learners have equal opportunities to develop the skills required to prepare them for adulthood. To demonstrate measurable progress and achievement through targeted recording and report writing which evidence progress against set EHCP (Education Health and Care Plan) outcomes. The College employs nurses, a wide range of therapists and has a positive behaviour’s ethos.

Our students enjoy learning and they love our college, so we do have a lot to smile about. We are a close knit team and would welcome new colleagues to be part of this enabling, empowering and equipping world of supporting students to fulfil their potential
