About the Service User:
I am 8 years old and diagnosed with Autism. I am looking for someone to support me with activities inside the home and outside. I am a very happy person, numbers can make me upset as I like to count , I would like to count to a million but need help to do this, I get frustrated when I try to do this myself. I have limited communication, but I can listen to you and understand you well.
What you will be Doing:
You will support me on a 1 to 1 basis. You will support with activities like reading, painting, going to the park and picking me up from school. I also like to play in the garden, play on my scooter or bike.
Person I would like:
I would like the person supporting me to be kind and caring. An understanding of Autism and care experience is preferable but not essential. Be able to work flexibly. Any training undertaken in Autism is desirable.
Hours of working:
On a Saturday - 1.5 hours a week during the day (time is flexible). £11.44 an hour. The post will include 5.6 weeks paid annual leave (pro-rata). You will need to have an enhanced DBS in place.
