An opportunity has arisen within the Research and Development Team at York Hospital for a dynamic, proactive and highly motivated Administrator to join our Trial Management Team .

The successful candidate will be joining a busy and friendly department and should be a strong team player, able to bring an energy and enthusiasm for the role. The post holder must be an excellent communicator who is able to confidently, effectively and professionally liaise with internal and external colleagues, service users, and members of the public, handling confidential information in an appropriate manner.

The successful candidate will be able to act on their own initiative, prioritise and organise their own workload as required and demonstrate an ability to multi-task.

There are two posts available and both posts are offered at 37.5 hours per week.
• Provide support for all aspects of research studies where external funding is provided for the Trust to lead these including, but not limited to, large NIHR funded programmes of research.
• Manage and respond to initial enquiries from researchers interested in research and log all enquiries.
• Assist researchers with preparing study documentation for consideration by the Trust’s R&D Group.
• Provide support for all aspects of Trust sponsored research studies including, but not limited to, completion of study documentation for regulatory submissions or amendments, preparing documentation for study files and project delivery, and ordering supplies.
