Duties:

• Provide assessment and treatment for a wide ranging complex caseload of adults with learning disability to achieve well-being outcomes using a collaborative framework
• Work across a range of settings e.g. domiciliary, adult training centres, etc
• Have cross responsibility to progress and develop the SLT service to support clients undergoing transition in collaboration with Transition officers
• Provide specialist advice, guidance, supervision and support

Requirements of the Adult Learning Disability Speech and Language Therapist/SLT:

• Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration
• Recent UK/NHS post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
