Summary


Gaskell Ward is a 33- bedded Respiratory Ward at Northwick Park Hospital. We look after patients on nocturnal CPAP and Non-invasive ventilation as well as Tracheostomy patients. We work closely and collaboratively with our esteemed Respiratory Consultants, Respiratory Physios and other Multidisciplinary Team members such as our Respiratory Specialist Nurses who are also based in the ward.

Are you a passionate and dedicated Band 5 Nurse ready for an exciting opportunity?

Look no further! We are looking for enthusiastic and confident nurses with relevant experience and excellent knowledge and great communication skills. We will offer you sufficient support and necessary developmental packages to better help you perform your role as Band 5 in our Respiratory Ward. This includes sending you for Respiratory Study days and special trainings covering Tracheostomy care and Non-invasive ventilation (NIV).







The post holders must be able to demonstrate motivation and adaptability to the fast-paced environment in Gaskell Ward.

Furthermore, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition for our patients from admission to discharge. Updating clinical information systems using our latest electronic patient record and ultimately optimising patient outcomes and experience.
