Based within Royal Preston Hospital, we are looking for a highly motivated individual with relevant administrative experience to join our team. This role is a great opportunity for someone with experience and ability to support our Student learners throughout the Trust.

The ability to work on your own initiative and within a team, prioritise your workload and communicate professionally with a wide range of people is
essential.

The successful applicant will share our enthusiasm and maintain good links with the relevant Universities, Trust Consultants and all Teams supporting the learners, to ensure the placements they attend are well informed and ready to provide excellent teaching provision.

You will be responsible for coordinating the effective delivery of Inductions for all learners within Lancashire teaching hospitals.

You will be based within the Student, Trainee and Placement Support (STAPS) Team in G Block, Royal Preston Hospital and will be required to support each learner group with the administration of inductions, ID Badges; e-learning; mandatory training, Coordinate the speakers, room bookings and certificates for the CPD learner days and requests for elective placements from home and overseas learners.

The post holder will ensure all resources are in place to support the streamlined delivery of the tasks outlined above and provide an administrative service to an excellent standard.

The post Holder will also be responsible for monitoring and ensuring that each email is moved to the correct person.

You will act as a key link for the Student, Trainee and Placement Support Team in terms of communicating information relating to the learner Inductions in a timely and efficient manner.

• You will have previous administrative experience and be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• A high level of skill with IT, MS office and database management is essential.
• Have excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Be able to forward plan, ensuring all learners are fully prepared to achieve their aims and objectives
• Ensure service development and delivery is at the forefront, providing high quality educational environments.
• Ensure personal knowledge is up-to-date and relevant.
• Conform to health safety and security legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines.
