Summary
As a Food Production Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production team in various tasks related to food manufacturing. Working under the supervision of production supervisors, you will help ensure the smooth operation of the production process and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:Assist in preparing ingredients and materials for production according to recipes and specifications.Operate food processing equipment such as mixers, slicers, and packaging machines.Monitor production processes and assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise. Perform quality checks on ingredients, products, and packaging to ensure they meet standards.Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils to maintain hygiene and food safety standards.Assist in inventory management by stocking and organizing materials and supplies.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols at all times.Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality concerns to supervisors promptly.Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge related to food production and safety.
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant vocational training or certification is a plus.Previous experience in a food production environment is desirable but not required.Basic understanding of food safety principles and regulations. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
