Summary
Asbestos Removal Supervisor.
£170.00 per day.

DKF are representing an environmental services client who are looking for an Asbestos Removal Supervisor to join their team. Established nearly 40 years ago within industrial services, our client is now adding an Asbestos Removal Division to their offering which already includes Land Remediation, Demolition and Dismantle, Hazardous Waste Removal and Decontamination. Operating both inside and outside of the UK, their clients include a long list of well-known national and international names. Having already lodged an asbestos removal application with the HSE they are now wanting to build a team around a competent supervisor with further opportunities for the successful candidate to progress to Site Manager and Project Management.
What your core responsibilities would be:
•Initially reviewing and developing company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), policies, procedures, equipment, planning works etc until removal licence is in place.
•Once licence is in place supervising the live asbestos removal projects on a large fixed site in Ellesmere Port - huge volume of work with loads of individual projects to get through.
•Review job specifications, inspect work site, and communicate updates to further Management.
•Effectively manage site paperwork (Site Diary, Completion paperwork and waste consignment notes)
•Examine workers' equipment, such as respirator systems, air evacuation and filtration systems, and air quality testing devices, to ensure that they meet company and government safety standards.
•Monitor and inspect the quality of work during project.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:
•Hold ARCA (or equivalent) Licensed Asbestos Supervisor Training.
•Must hold a valid Full UK driving licence.
•Must have recent supervisory experience in asbestos removal.
•Must have all asbestos certificates currently in date and CSCS.
•Must have the ability to direct a team as well as mentor and motivate staff.
•Good communication and organisational skills.
•Strong attention to detail.
