Summary
Opportunity Warehouse is the trading arm of The National Family Centre Limited, a Registered Charity, who sell a variety of items online. We are now seeking further personnel with experience in computer based stock control processes.
Inventory Assistant Responsibilities and Duties:
• Creation and Maintenance of electronic stock records
• Check stock items in inventory
• Report inconsistencies between inventory counts and database records
• Replace the price tag on goods
• Place barcoded labels on stock items and shelves to recognise stock
• Inspect stock periodically to evaluate accuracy in electronic records
• Modify the sticker price on products if necessary
• Refill items on shelves with stock from storage
• Rotate product and maintain it
Inventory Assistant Skills and Qualification:
• Extensive knowledge of computer based stock control or related systems
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related sector
• Excellent arithmetic and analytical skills
• Ability to be punctual, dependable, and communicate effectively
• Good education and proven problem-solving skills
Although we are advertising this job as “Temporary” it may, eventually, become permanent. The position may suit someone who has retired so, of course, there is no restriction on who can apply.
