Summary


We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic Band 6 Registered Midwives to join our team providing excellent care for women and families at every stage.

As part of an existing team in based at Ipswich Hospital, you will support and work closely with the team to give our clients the best possible care during this exciting time in their lives.

As part of Better Births, we are committed to providing continuity at every opportunity and would like to welcome midwives who wish to be part of our woman-centred, family friendly care providing support & care with passion and integrity.

You will work in a variety of settings, which may include all antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal and community services, maintaining skills in all aspects of midwifery care on a rotational basis.

We will support you in developing your career and increasing your skills, whilst maintaining your work life balance.





The post holder will be expected to provide the full remit of midwifery care, moving towards a model of caseload management.

The post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating, planning, organising and directing activities to ensure optimum care is achieved and continued learning is created and maintained.

The post holder is designated to take charge of all clinical areas in the absence of the person who has continuing responsibility.
