Job role: Behavioural Teaching Assistant

Location: Skipton (BD23)

Contract: Full-time (Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm)

Teaching Personnel are looking for a strong behavioural Teaching Assistant to support in a Secondary PRU. The successful candidate must have at least 5 GCSEs including Maths and English and have some understanding of the curriculum.

About the role:

The position of the PRU Teaching Assistant will involve
- Being able to build strong and trusting relationships
- Be required to work either with small groups or on a 1:1 basis
- Being resilient and support students to persevere through difficult situations
- There are opportunities for the role to become permanent with the school after a qualifying period

Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
- Willing to travel
- Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
- Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
- Minimum of six months UK residency
- We do not accept those on skilled worker visas
- Please ensure you have references available upon request covering the last 24 months of employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
