Summary
We are recruiting Team Leaders to join our vibrant Nightshift team on a Full-time basis and can commit to 35 hours per week.

What qualities and skills are we looking for in you?
· Previous experience of working as a Senior Support Worker (or equivalent role) within a care environment is beneficial although this is not essential.
· Excellent organisational and communication skills, written & verbal.
· Hold an SVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent in Care.
· Hold or be willing to undertake a PDA in Supervision (Professional Development Award).
· Hold a recognised qualification in Medication or have experience of medication.
What are the main aspects of the role?
o To assist the Care Manager, Deputy Care Manager and Supervisors in their professional administrative duties.
o To hold responsibility of residents and staff whilst in charge of the home in such times such as the Management Team are not in the building.
o To supervise and support their team members including mentoring new staff members.
o Assisting residents with all aspects of personal care and daily living requirements through the delivery of individual planned care programmes.
o Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
o Maintaining effective communication with residents, relatives and visiting professionals.
o Safe handling and administration of medication in conjunction with the eMAR medication system and Safe Operation Procedures.
o Promoting the independence and dignity of residents whilst enabling them to live their chosen lifestyle.
