Summary


The Pain Management Team at Southend have recently restructured their POD Team (Administration Team) to allow for a better patient experience, and clinical support.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to work in our small admin family, and the wider warm team of nurses, physios and of course our doctors. Although we are a small service, we are a not short of work, and that's where you would come in.

We need an exceptional individual to join the exceptional team already in post, you will have all the skills you would expect from an experienced administrator in a modern office - confident user of all standard Microsoft Office packages. You will be confident in dealing with people over the phone and emails.

If successful, you will deliver a comprehensive, high standard effective and efficient administration service to support the work of the Pain team.

You will work support with booking outpatient appointments and theatre lists and aiding with the management of the waiting lists, ensuring that systems and procedures are developed and in place to achieve deadlines.

You will also act as a point of contact for both internal and external clients, ensuring that enquiries are dealt with and/or filtered through the right channels so that they are resolved as quickly as possible.

With a workforce of approximately 15,000 staff, we can now do more and go further in delivering health services to our local communities.
