Summary
We are currently looking for a Test Analyst on a full time, permanent basis. This position sits within the QA team, based in our Uxbridge office.
At Creatum, we develop software solutions for businesses and also create and sell our own software products. We are looking to add new members to quality check our software production before release.
Across our applications & products, the IT Test Team is involved working with business and technology stakeholders to maximise the quality of the end deliverables.
Our IT Test Team is a relatively small core team of Professional Testers which allows the team and individuals to contribute to key solutions and be recognised for their work.
The job
Reporting to the Product Manager, on a day to day basis, you'll be involved in the following:
Supporting the delivery of testing business solutions projects and change deliverables, from early project engagement, estimation, planning and preparation through to test execution and reporting
Acting as a member of the IT Test Team to define and agree responsibilities across the whole test phase of a project
Use a variety of test techniques including but not limited to functional and non-functional, scripted, exploratory and risk-based
Act as a conduit between the project or functional team and end users
Providing an Independent factual statement of the quality of deliverables
Task management responsibility (where appropriate) for a team of Test Analysts
Contribute to the ongoing Continuous Improvement within the IT Test Team
The person
We're looking for someone who:
Has demonstrable knowledge of all recognised phases of Testing (including System Test, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Performance Testing, Operational Acceptance Testing, etc)
Has demonstrable excellent planning and organisational skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail
Has demonstrable knowledge and experience of testing Web/Internet technology applications and/or Customer Relationship Management systems.
Has demonstrable knowledge of writing SQL Statements (or other database Query languages or Tools)
Has knowledge of applications delivered as Software as a Service, n-Tier Systems Architecture
Experience of collaboration tools such as MS Teams/JIRA/Confluence
Experience of SmartBear Testing tools (TestComplete, Zephyr, ReadyAPI) would be advantageous
Experience of APIs/Web Services would be advantageous
Experience of Test Automation would be advantageous
Experience of Performance Testing would be advantageous
Demonstrable experience of conducting testing in Waterfall and Agile project methodologies

Is highly motivated, pro-active and enthusiastic individual who works on their own initiative and is comfortable working towards deadlines and ability to manage own time
Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and project stakeholders
