Summary

We are looking for a HR Programme IT Systems Analyst who will be instrumental in analysing and implementing IT systems to support the People Services Transformation project. About the role

First Bus is currently going through a big change in how it handles its employee services. This is part of a larger effort by FirstGroup. The goal is to fix the current technology setup, make processes simpler, and make things better for employees overall. The project includes getting a brand new & intuitive HRIS & Payroll system, improving how things are done, and offering services that are structured and shared. You will work closely with the Group Strategy and Architecture Director, as well as with other teams in IT and HR.

Responsibilities:

As the HR Programme IT Systems Analyst, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

-You will analyse and document business requirements for IT systems supporting HR functions.

-You will design and implement IT systems solutions, ensuring alignment with project goals.

-You will provide technical support to project teams during system implementation.

-You will conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.

-You will collaborate with external vendors to integrate IT systems effectively.

-You will ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.

-You will support the overall IT workstream lead in achieving project objectives.

Experience & Knowledge

-Do you have extensive experience as an IT Systems Analyst?

-Do you have proven experience in implementing IT systems supporting HR functions?

-What is your level of understanding and expertise in HR systems and processes, and how have you demonstrated this proficiency?

-What knowledge and experience do you have in data security and compliance measures?

-Can you provide examples of your collaboration with external vendors and partners in previous projects?

-Are you familiar with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE 2)?
