B2 Acute Cardiac Unit Grange University Hospital

Are you a highly motivated professional nurse with drive and passion wishing to play a pivotal role in one the largest Health Boards in Wales? If you are, then we have an excellent opportunity to join the Acute Cardiac Unit at the Grange University Hospital. We are seeking a Band 7 Unit Manager to lead our fantastic nursing team.

You will be an experienced nurse leader, expected to play a key role in the management and strategic development of the unit working closely with the Senior Nurse and Clinical Lead to deliver a challenging agenda, providing a high-quality service to patients and a positive working environment for our staff.



We are looking for an adaptable, expert clinical nurse with strong leadership skills. The ability to communicate well with a multidisciplinary team is vital.

You will be supported by a team of experienced band 6 nurses, clinical practice educator, nurse practitioners, a very engaged team of Consultants and a Senior Management team.

This post provides an opportunity for an experienced nurse to gain operational experience in a busy acute unit, whilst leading, supporting and developing the nursing team, overseeing service quality, and quality improvement.

We are looking for someone who possesses a natural desire to drive improvement initiatives and sustain excellent standards of our cardiac services. If you have the drive, determination, enthusiasm, and resilience to fulfil this role we would like to hear from you.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
