Mon-Fri 7am-6pm, 1 in 2 Saturdays 7am-12pm
£43k - £44k
Ideal Recruit are currently looking for a Yard Supervisor on behalf of our client in the Manchester area. You will be responsible for supervising a team of Yard Operatives, ensuring high levels of individual and collective performance at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure day-to-day running of the site.
• Assisting with loading and cleaning wagons and hoppers.
• Ensure that appropriate traffic management is in place
• Keeping the yard clean and tidy at all times.
• Following Health & Safety and other company policy guidelines.
• Mobile plant operations - safe operation of loading shovel, excavator or FLTs.
• Any other duties as required.
Requirements:
• Previous waste experience (at least 5 years preferred)
• Loading shovel and 360 tickets (NPORS preferred)
• Experience working with Selecta grab
