PDI Support Engineer
Colsterworth, Grantham
Temporary to Permanent
This global leader in their market is recruiting for a temporary to permanent PDI Support Engineer to join their small and friendly team on the outskirts of Colsterworth, Lincolnshire.
The primary purpose of the PDI Support Engineer role is to perform inspections of machines before being shipped to customers to ensure and uphold their excellent reputation
You will be responsible for:
• Carry out inbound inspections and any required cosmetic rework and cleaning on machines to ensure quality and availability of stock.
• Record inbound inspections on machines using our bespoke online app
• Carry out any customisations and required preparation to meet customer orders.
• Carry out any repairs or changing of parts required to machines where issues are found
• Use electronic systems to record inspections and customisations
• Assist the yard team by loading/unloading containers and trucks, preparing machines for transport and other yard duties as and when required.
For the role of PDI Support Engineer you will need to be IT literate, ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions, it is desirable you have an FLT. You will be working at height also so must be comfortable with heights.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am -4.00pm with no weekend work.
