Summary

• To be responsible for the service, testing and diagnose repairs needed to plant and equipment, including ordering of parts and fitment, within the trust buildings and plant. Be able to calibrate advanced mechanical and electrical installations including electronics. Understand, interrogate and rectify faults on the Building Management System. Take part in an on-call system and provide the hospital with late shift cover and stand in for leave and sick. Safe operation of plant and systems, steam, water treatment and electricity.

1 Carry out maintenance and minor works on engineering plant, equipment and services. 2 Act as lead for direction and guidance with regard to electrical/ mechanical services for other craftsman within the department. 3 Carry out all duties in a safe and compliant way.
