Platform Property Care has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Auditor to join our Award-winning Heating team based in Lincolnshire supporting a Service Manager and a team of Service & Repair Gas Engineers in this area. This brand-new role has arisen due to our continued growth and expansion in the team.

What will you be doing?

In this key role you will be auditing Landlord Gas Safety records issued by the engineering workforce, including undertaking detailed inspections, and specialist investigations and preparing reports.

You will then advise and develop recommendations to address issues identified, complete corrections, and provide coaching for our engineers. You will also develop and deliver training and line manage our team of apprentices.

You will have a real impact on our service delivery being successful. Being someone who will naturally thrive on taking responsibility you will own issues resolving these to ensure that our team continue to meet our KPIs.

Some things we need from you:

The following qualifications/ technical knowledge are essential

A gas related NVQ L3
Current ACS accreditation in CENWAT, CCN1, CPA1, CKR1, DAH1, HTR1
Comprehensive knowledge of the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations 1998 maintenance, servicing, and installation of Gas Installations
It would be advantageous if you held an Assessors qualification or equivalent, Fumes investigation reporting (CMDDA1), and or a Health & Safety Management qualification
Proven experience as a Service & Repair Engineer with a good understanding of the work and standards required
Experience in Domestic Gas auditing
Experience providing guidance, coaching, and training
Demonstrable experience in working with internal/ external customers and delivering services that meet key performance indicators
IT literate with experience of utilising technology to drive service performance
Strong numeracy and communication skills
Good report writing skills
Strong personal organisation skills
Ability to make a reasoned decision, with understanding of impact
Strong interpersonal skills – you will build strong working relationships
The role is mobile, and therefore requires a full UK Driving Licence, and covers Lincolnshire so you will need to be based in this area. At times you will be required to attend meetings and training at our other offices and locations including Worcester, Birmingham, Matlock, and Skegness.
