Summary
Arnold Laver, part of National Timber Group are looking to recruit a permanent Yard Operative to join the team at their branch in Milton Keynes.
The successful candidate will be a customer focused, confident and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills. Driving Licence essential.
Main Duties:
Ensure orders are picked correctly and in a timely manner
Ensure picking notes and tallies sheets are completed correctly
Check and complete Loading records correctly
Ensure vehicles are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently
Look for continuous improvement in your area
Ensure Rolling checks are completed accurately and timely
Ensure that stock is identified and returned to the correct bin location
Ensure that the ‘goods returned’ procedure is adhered to.
Record and report any damaged or poor quality materials to the Area Foreman or relevant Product Champion.
Ensure all stock is rotated.

This is a full time permanent role Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm

Six weeks holiday per year including the public bank holiday, increasing to 6.6 weeks after 5 full years' service
