TeacherActive are looking for a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to work in a fantastic school in the Cardiff area. The ideal Teaching Assistant will need to have experience working with children with various special educational needs. 1:1 and in a group setting. This is a great chance to gain an abundance of experience to add to your CPD and keep everyday exciting.
The ideal Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant should have the following:
• At least Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment.
• Experience working with children with special educational needs in a 1:1 setting.
• A calm, patient and caring personality.
• Good communication skills.
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.

The ideal Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant will be paid £62 - £72 a day. All of our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.
