Summary


London North West Healthcare NHS Trust is looking to recruit a forward thinking and dynamic Locum Consultant Orthodontist.

Applications are invited for this 4.5 PA programmed activity post based at Northwick Park Hospital

The post consists of a combination of personal treatment, diagnostic and multidisciplinary sessions. Aspects of the post will involve supervision and training of specialist trainee registrars and post CCST on rotation from The Royal London Hospital. There is a close working relationship with maxillofacial surgeons allowing for weekly orthognathic clinics.

• Provide advice and where appropriate treatment
• Help develop the service in accordance with Trust policy
• Teach train and supervise postgraduates trainees as appropriate
• Demonstrate professional excellence and efficient delivery of care in accordance with clinical case load associated with the post.
• Attend and develop combined joint clinics held with oral & maxillofacial surgeons and specialist prosthodontist.
• Assist colleagues in the education of general dental practitioners and provision of advice.
